The operator said that the 12,000-square-foot facility will host a variety of A&B departments including executive, administration, accounting, security, customer service, technology, reservations for the dinner train, operations, maintenance of way, engineering and communications and signals.
Kime Design is providing an architectural re-design with renovations of the facility expected to start by first quarter of 2010.
The A&B RR provides freight service in Lenawee County and operates The Old Road Dinner Train in Blissfield. The Charlotte Southern Railroad Company provides freight service in Eaton County plus The Old Road Dinner Train in Charlotte. The Detroit Connecting Railroad Company provides freight service in Eastern Wayne County and the Lapeer Industrial Railroad Company provides freight service in Lapeer County.
