Perot Systems Implements SAP CRM 2007 at PARI

 
Perot Systems has completed implementation of the latest version of SAP CRM 2007, a web-based CRM solution, for the PARI Group.

The inhaler manufacturer has concentrated all customer-related processes within the CRM platform, which provides it with a 360° view of its customer and sales activities.

According to Perot Systems, since going online, the CRM solution has already proven its worth to the 120 users in the PARI Group of companies as they can now manage customer and business partner data, including contact histories and marketing campaigns, in a consistent manner.

The system helps to ensure customer- and sales-related data are up to date and complete while providing all sales personnel with access to consistent information. Furthermore, it also enables the external sales force to plan their customer visits more efficiently by providing relevant information at the click of a button – including reports, sales figures and marketing classifications.

In addition, pre-qualified data such as trade show contacts can be transferred automatically to the CRM solution, where they can be filed immediately as customer contacts using the external list management function.

The company has added that further benefits of the CRM solution include the web-based and user-friendly interface as well as its broad integration into SAP ERP, which PARI uses as its central solution for processing core business activities. The smooth bi-directional data exchange between SAP CRM and SAP ERP is controlled by the SAP CRM middleware. This includes ready-made connectors for all important data objects in the CRM software such as customers, products, offers and orders. It can be connected to all popular versions of SAP R/3 and SAP ERP.

Johann Zimmermann, CEO of PARI, said: “We currently have around 196,000 contact details globally, 46,000 of them in the ERP system. SAP CRM 2007 has enabled us to establish standardized and transparent processes for our customers in all locations, the high level of integration permitted by SAP ERP and the intuitive operation of SAP CRM 2007 simplifies and speeds up our sales processes enormously.”
