IMAX Corporation has reported revenues of $54.23m for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2009, an increase of 98 percent, compared to $27.42m for the same period in 2008. Adjusted EBITDA was $20.9m, compared to $2.6m for the prior year period.

IMAX Corporation has signed an agreement with CJ CGV Company, an operator of multiplex cinema chain in South Korea, to install up to 15 new digital IMAX theatre systems, with the roll-out scheduled to begin later in 2010 and to upgrade four existing film-based IMAX theatres to digital systems.
